Ederson or Hart. Who gets into the team of the decade?

Normally it's said footballers from different era's can't be compaired but with our style play keepers from different seasons can't really be.

Hart was the better 1-on-1 whereas Eddie's control is fantastic.

As Joe wouldn't even try and conform or try to adapt I have to take Eddie.

Peak Hart shits all over Ederson in terms of ‘saves’.

Imo Ederson is pretty average when using that criteria.

However, he is exceptional as a ‘keeper sweeper’ and with his distribution. 2 things Hart was average at.

Ederson ‘fits’ this team, and Pep’s style much, much better.

But if I needed a goalkeeper to ‘save’ something it’d be peak Hart every time.

As long as it wasn't down by his left hand side.

The best shot stopper City have ever had in my opinion was Tony Coton, he was incredible and was very unlucky not to play for England. Ederson is the best all round keeper we have ever had. When Pep leaves I believe Ederson will be the first player he will attempt to sign for his new club as he is so important to the style he plays.

With respect to your last paragraph I would add “so long as the shot is not to his left and low down” !!!
