No doubt it is coming, but as you can appreciate, timing is everything to those who wish to cause harm.
I think that was a bad summary of it - the link said 1-2 weeks, not days. Still, one week of that has now passed.

that's nothing directly to do with transfers - it's to do with failing the EFL FFP rules. Largely driven by their high wages bill. They gambled in spending big to get into the Premier League and failed.
