FC United Thread

Just took a look

Leamington and everyone above appear safe - 10 points and better goal difference above the Pallet Park'ers.
Guiseley need to do something with that game in hand to really help them out but clearly with 7 games remaining, the Rag Socks need to start winning too.
That goal difference against them could be crucial.
Had a quick glance at fixtures this week and the rag sox are at home to York and Guiseley at home to Curzon on Tuesday.
Saturday rag sox at home to Nuneaton (if they can't win that one then......) and Guiseley at home to York.... crucial 2 games for both clubs

Played / goals difference / points
18 Leamington 36 -10 40
19 Guiseley 34 -12 33
20 Moston Rag Socks 35 -25 30
21 Ashton United 35 -40 30
22 Nuneaton 35 -49 16

Darlington have them at home on April 6th ( gutted cant make it as on way to Wembley) which I hope could seal their fate.

Darlo also play Guiseley and Leamington on the run in so could have a big say in it. Darlo safe after yesterdays games.
Looking at Leamington again maybe they aren't as safe as first suggested. Guiseley have 2 games in hand and the Rag Socks one. Would be a complete shock for both of them to jump Leamington but one of them could do it.

Ten points and a 15 inferior goal difference is a hell of a lot for SCUM to make up at this stage of the season.

They have Nuneaton next week....... surely they can't screw that one up? Win the game in hand on Tuesday too and it could be 4 points behind with 5 games to go this time next week if Leamington also lose.... squeaky bum time

Now 5 points behind 4th bottom Guiseley (who have a game in hand) with 6 games left.

Looking good.
With the goal difference it is six poinrs behind.
They need 2 wins from their last 6 games (or a win and 3 draws or 6 draws lol) just to get above Guiseley and of course that requires Guiseley not picking up any points in between including a game in hand.
Nuneaton at home Saturday has to be a win... If not......
