That wasn't the worst of it. The also made sure that all of the mascots had AIG plastered across their shirts (and the players' names on their back as a 'tribute'). Even the mascots with the City players were wearing a black away rag kit with AIG on it, which I've never seen before. It was absolutely shameless.

Watch this and see how many times you see their sponsor's logo filling the screen:

I was in the rags corporate that day and thanks to the away blues impeccable behaviour I was able to lord it over them after the game-petty I know but didn't see us win there that often in them days.

No, look carefully. There weren't any City mascots by the looks of things. There were more rag mascots in the away kit, obviously all with the sponsor on the front too.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, I'm pretty sure City had a couple of mascots too though mate. I remember watching the footage back the day after the match as I'd recorded it while at the game, and I swear I remember a couple of kids in the same sponsor-less City kit that the players were wearing. Weirdly, I can't see any evidence of any City mascots on that footage though

It's lovely to see Utd fans stewing over the morals of Saudi ownership. All sorts of justifications for it going ahead are coming out of their support. The current overall feeling from them is that the Glazers are not so "clean", that the west already sell arms to Saudi Arabia, and that in the grand scheme of things Utd's name might just pull Saudi Arabia into line on the global stage.

Fuckoff, they just want the money as if that will buy them what City has!
