I know why the clubs do these pre season tours. Spread the City gospel around the world etc etc. Plus, I'd imagine it isn't exactly financially harmful to them. But wouldn't it be nice for the players to have a full summer away from football (particularly seeing as there's no Euros or World Cup tournament this year)?

The game is in Hongkou stadium not Shanghai Stadium. It’s not bad for watching football. We played there years ago under Keegan

HKD does make you wonder why many people chose not to go Bolton away a few years back, because the Trotters chose to charge £30 a ticket. How times have changed. Pre-season from £25 upwards to £150, or more. Madness.

Seems tickets have been released for the Japan friendly @ www.eurojapancup.com, however the ticketing page is entirely in Japanese. Nothing from City at this stage. I have tix for the HK game, just need to sort Japan.
