Not specifically a media matter, but certainly ON the media.
This morning's Zoe Ball breakfast show on BBC Radio 2, the slightly less gobshitey of the Gallaghers, was being interviewed.
He summed up the Liverpool"situation", perfectly
Listen again, @ 1:26:00 into the programme. I'm surprised it's not been "edited out"

Whats he said - cant access it in work

It’s annoying that they keep saying every game for city is going to be tough. We were told we would slip up at palace spurs or united and the rest should be ok. We got through the 3 tricky ones and all of a sudden burnley will be hard got through that now it’s Leicester is going to a tricky one for us.

And in all this time it’s as if Liverpool have played their 38 games and ended on 97 points.
Good. Let them keep saying it. Keeps us on our toes. Fact is, we can an should win both games. Only complacency and/or creative referee will do for us now.

Spot on mate. According to the media rent a quote cvnts Burnley was the toughest game either of us had left even though we were a much shorter price to beat Burnley than they are to beat Ncastle.

It's all just wishful thinking from the scouse infested media.

Infested is exactly the right word.

We've had years of the media fearful of putting a foot wrong where poor Liverpool are concerned since what happened in that FA Cup semi-final. It's got to a point where they are practically untouchable in the press.

Take the most recent incident in Barcelona. The media narrative is now that it was an isolated incident involving an individual fan, but that isn't strictly the case. Firstly someone filmed it, which makes it more than a single fan, and secondly, there was more than one fan dicking about in the video's I've seen.

They've practically had a 30 year easy ride in the press, and it's about time it stopped and they started calling this lot out when they behave like arseholes.

The BBC pander to vocal minorities no matter how badly they behave, they won't change. Sky and BT seem to think that Liverpool's armchair fanbase must be indulged to protect a significant revenue stream. That will change when they realise the antipathy your average footy fan has developed for Liverpool fans

Carragher, Aldridge and the rest of the Merseyside Media Mafia played a large part in the hate campaign against Sterling which spread to the other neanderthals on social media and opposition fans forums Why do LFC former players seem to have a problem with everyone else? And, why are they allowed a privileged position to vent their bias and venom? Jamie has now started winding `fans` up about Suarez in anticipation for the home match `welcome` and The Mail is only too happy to lap it up.

Apparently Vardy is going to rip our defence to pieces in the name of Liverpool if he fails it'll be that world class hitman Murray at Brighton fucking media wankstains and I'll tell you this if we win these last 2 games with the amount of so called banana skins we've had to go through we must be better than Brazil 1970 side
