Trust me, if City win at Brighton, Anfield will be a morge at full-time on Sunday, and it will be live on TV for the World to see. Regardless of what Liverpool did last night, 9 months of effort, fight, toil, etc, will have all come to nothing. And the PL trophy, the trophy every Liverpool fan wants above any other, and that includes the CL trophy, will be lifted by Vincent Kompany and City. Getting to the CL final, and winning the CL trophy will be a fantastic consolation prize, and nothing more. Obviously the Scouser’s won’t ever admit that. And they will make out winning the CL is a bigger achievement than winning the title, or the treble, if we win the FA Cup as well.
Don't be so sure, the deluded clowns will see themselves as moral victors and deserving to share the title. The win against the bottle factory called Barcelona last night will only reinforce that view by their fans and the media.

This ladies and gentlemen is why we have to win on Sunday because if we don't what's going on now in the media you can x1000 and even if we do these sycophantic twats will still be striving for an angle to downplay our achievements.

Two points, media and Liverpool supporter related plus, the collaborative Merseyside police...

1) It's being proclaimed as the greatest comeback ever. No it isn't. A magnificent effort on their part to be fair and not really unfair over the 180 mins. However for something to be 'the greatest' it by definition has to be greater than others. This is simply being hailed as because it's them/the media and therefore it is merely the most 'sensationalised'. Fake news! There are numerous examples of technically better comebacks including our own at Spurs all those years ago. 3 down at half time to win 4-3 not only with 10 men for an entire half but, inside 90 mins and away from home. Still, don't let truth and facts get in the way of a good story!

2) On TalkSport news an hour ago they referenced a police 'tweet' commending both Liverpool and Barca fans for their exemplary behaviour at the game and after with a footnote mention ..' there were fireworks let off at Barca's hotel earlier but no arrests'. This I believe is no more than a colluded effort to put out an opposite falsehood to mask the real facts. That ground has always been a hell hole to visit where the police look after their own.

I know many decent, fair Liverpudlians but, there is something seriously weird about a large percentage of their fan base and the extreme and irrational tendencies they exibit when under the LFC banner. The most nauseating thing though is the way the media pander to them at best and misrepresent the facts at worst.

They haven't acquired their reputation amongst other fan bases for nothing. Experienced travelling fans know the truth but, it is of course brushed aside.

Liverpool fans want the PL more than anything else and have made that clear. Their cherished history is badly tarnished having never won it. They will be absolutely sick if we win the league on Sunday. And, if City manage to win the FA Cup as well, we will be achieving a historic treble which none of the great teams of the past were able to do. For me it's all about what we do in the next couple of weeks...couldn't care less about the CL. Even if Liverpool do win the CL...sadly for them it will be just a consolation prize.

Good old Danny Murphy thinks if Spurs can replicate their result at the etihad, then they will go through tonight against Ajax. You just have to laugh at how thick and clueless he really is.

This ⬆
Credit where it's due, they only had a 1% chance last night and they won fair fucks. But they haven't won the trophy yet so consider what it will be like if they do... insufferable doesn't really do it justice. And they somehow win the PL as well? I might give up football. We absolutely imperatively must win on Sunday, because after all we deserve it,

Klopp is a coward. This season he binned off (and totally disrespected) both domestic trophies at the first hurdle to concentrate on the PL and CL while Pep went for the lot. Last season Liverpool managed an obligatory win against Everton in the 3rd round of the FA Cup then went out at home to a hapless West Brom side and lost at the first hurdle in the League Cup. He eventually even binned off the PL to go for CL glory. Absolute shithouse.

Nobody seems to recall Liverpool have lost four times in Europe this season?

That must be some sort of record for a team reaching the Final?

Red Star, Napoli, Paris and Barca.

Nothing underlines the lottery of the competition more than this.
