all 'trophies' which are open to ONLY two teams should not count - this then excludes the Charity/Community Shield, Euro Super Cup etc

Rags drop from 66 to 43
Dippers drop from 61 to 42
The Arse drop from 46 to 31
Rentboys 30 to 25
Spuds 26 to 17
Villa 25 to 21
Minor Dippers 24 to 15
City 23 to 18

therefore moving us up from 8th to 6th

This yields the current top six teams which IMO are likely to remain the top six for the foreseeable future. As long as we stay at the top of the current pile

Our honours list is(or seems to be) more important to other clubs fans, especially United and Liverpool. United's history is just that, history. Ours is in the making. Ours is the present and the future. Genuinely not arsed how many pots we have won thus far in our history as a club. Every trophy won is a bonus IMO so let's just enjoy as we don't know how long our good fortune will last.

Personally prefer here and now, what we're aiming for to what we had and where we were. I love our history but it means nothing during the next game.
