Players allegedly singing “Allez” song

Where was the Liverpool outrage after they attacked the coach? The club, the fans, Merseyside Police.

To this day Liverpool fans still find it funny and gloat about attacking the coach.

All season we have sung the song, and not once have the media picked up on it.

And very rarely have Liverpool fans complained about it.

But look at it now. The media and Liverpool fans are associating it with Hillsborough and Cox. Please!

Once again the narrative from the media, and an untruth has been started by Liverpool fans to attack the club.

And City fans on here want City staff sacked, and the club to basically apologise.

GTF!
Amen to that brother.

Shouldn't even be necessary to do this if the Media did their job properly without an agenda.

As has been said repeatedly, It's not about Hillsborough, Barcelona fountains or Sean Cox, and equally it's not about Heysel, Team Bus snashing or Supporters Coaches trashing. Mark Twain allegedly said Never let the truth get in the way of a good story. How true !

Colossal post.

Because it’s not clear from that video which, if any, players are actually joining in.

Can’t imagine many of them even know the words, other than the chorus and maybe the Sterling bit. Regardless, it’s not about Sean Cox or Hillsborough and it’s disingenuous for people to claim it is.

Still, it’s a load more negative press that the club probably could’ve done without. Wonder who actually shared the video originally?

That's what I thought - can't see them knowing it.

As for how it got out - that'll be easy enough for the club to work out!

Great song and I love the fact the players are on our wavelength, but its not great that this video has been circulated. You just know the backlash it will cause, any excuse to stick the knife into someone and to draw sympathy, the scousers will do it.

"victims of it all"

Even the Liverpool fans in Australia have picked up on this one......god they are precious c%$ts the whole lot of them.

Guess I'd be bitter if the greatest team we ever had came second as well.
