It doesn't matter what the corrupt UEFA and their bodies have to say. It's the CAS which is much more important and truly objective. We're going to win this, it only takes a bit longer when we go that route. One thing is for sure now, the days of being nice should be over and City should fight them now and also question the legality of FFP in general in court. Hire (I'm sure they already did) a team of the best lawyers in the world and take them on.

What the fuck is the chamber?? Jesus they really are a bunch of pompous tossers!

Investigatory chamber/committee = the group of 8. Limited punishment powers (max is €100k fine according to David Conn)

Adjudicatory chamber = committee who can decide on heavier punishments.

All that's happened here is the process - the investigators have investigated, and passed it on. A bit like police investigating and passing to the CPS for a decision on any charges or action.

I look forward to it. Fining or banning us without evidence isn't going to end well for uefa.

As well as being demonstrably incorrect, I am positive that will be the driver to stop playing nice with them, and we'll be seeking to understand on a very public and also legal level exactly why they acted on stolen information, why they interpreted that differently to the explanation, and why they knowingly tried to damage our current and future brand value and appeal,as well as who the individuals in uefa who pushed this through are.

Uefa are potentially not just questioning our integrity, but that of multinational companies and of an entire country. That goes beyond football and the fallout will see many uefa figures brought into the limelight.

I still think uefa are debating the size of the punishment, maybe thinking incorrectly that we'll take a pinch again. They should know very clearly that we will not again, we have told them this and so they need to choose between appeasing pressure from other uefa members (or out competitors) or issuing a punishment which is not supported by the evidence, relies on misinterpreted leaked emails, and will lead to a prolonged legal battle.

Manchester City Football Club is disappointed, but regrettably not surprised, by the sudden announcement of the referral to be made by the CFCB IC Chief Investigator Yves Leterme.

The leaks to media over the last week are indicative of the process that has been overseen by Mr. Leterme.

Manchester City is entirely confident of a positive outcome when the matter is considered by an independent judicial body.

The accusation of financial irregularities remains entirely false and the CFCB IC referral ignores a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence provided by Manchester City FC to the Chamber.

The decision contains mistakes, misinterpretations and confusions fundamentally borne out of a basic lack of due process and there remain significant unresolved matters raised by Manchester City FC as part of what the Club has found to be a wholly unsatisfactory, curtailed, and hostile process.

That is about as blunt as possible, isn't it?
The note about 'independent judicial body' is key - it basically says "try anything and we'll see you in court".

Thing is City are owned by a very wealthy Arab club. I am not sure we can expect justice. We've been set up by the media as cheats for literally years.

Wow biggest statement yet since all this shit has been rumbling on. It will end up in court, no way we are taking another pinch, good on them!

For us to indicate mistakes have been made and question the integrity of the process is very strong in statements of this nature and the club do look like they are very confident that this won't hold up in a court.
