When you look the stats in the Premier League site, shots per goal, Gabriel Jesus had a convertion ratio of 16%. 43 shots and 7 goals. Its the same as Harry Kane, better than Salah and 1% inferior to Aguero. Only Auba got some absurd convertion ratio of 23%.It was the exact same with Sterling two years ago, constantly getting in positions and being a bit erratic finishing wise. We all know how that turned out.
Of course we need to be careful with stats and see who were the adversaries because he did not play in the big games. But tbf in general majority of defenses in the English football are strong and small sides parking the bus can be even worse for strikers.
