Gabriel Jesus 2018-19 performances

It was the exact same with Sterling two years ago, constantly getting in positions and being a bit erratic finishing wise. We all know how that turned out.
When you look the stats in the Premier League site, shots per goal, Gabriel Jesus had a convertion ratio of 16%. 43 shots and 7 goals. Its the same as Harry Kane, better than Salah and 1% inferior to Aguero. Only Auba got some absurd convertion ratio of 23%.

Of course we need to be careful with stats and see who were the adversaries because he did not play in the big games. But tbf in general majority of defenses in the English football are strong and small sides parking the bus can be even worse for strikers.

Fair enough, all about opinions. Do you think Sterling is a better left winger than Sane?

Hard to say.

Leroy (for me) is best on the left with space behind, against teams that sit very deep, he's largely ineffective, as we saw against Leicester, Burnley etc.

Raheem on the left has that added bonus that he can take a defender on both sides, take them to the byline or cut in on his stronger foot and score great goals (Southampton, Arsenal etc)

Gabby isn't going anywhere, whats really impressed me about him other than his football, is that is English is getting better n better.
