POTY VVD needed to take Leroy out & concede penalty v Liverpool away and Leroy scored winner v Liverpool at home

Has lightening pace, balance, technique, quick feet, scores goals, assists & free kick specialist & all proven @ PL level.

And hes young too, he has everything you would be looking for if you were looking for a player to strengthen this team.

Hopefully he stays.

that maybe, I certainly don't have the answer but this is rather obvious,
but it's about attitude, training effort, Pep's perception, and club requirements from squad to financials, and all the other things we don't know about.
hope he stays as well.

you had
Ideally, with what we have today, I’d like to see

KDB.......FERNANDINHO.....BERNARDO
STERLING.....AGUERO.............SANÉ

bernardo plays primarily on the right, and does his best work there.
for that reason my preferred setup wouldn't include sane to start at this time,

-----------------edo-----------------------
Danilo---stones----laporte---zinchenko
---------------fernandinho-----------------
---berny------------------------merlin------
-------------------KDB------------------------
-------sterling------------aguero-----------

like you eluded to some of Sane's shortcomings, these guys are all better on the ball and read the space and game better.
our outside backs do a nice job down the flanks attacking and as long as our centerbacks stay responsible we are not too open to the counter,
at least until other teams improve or get better at adapting.
the Danilo pick could be up for debate, but for me although Walker's a good defender, his two left feet and attack play are lacking.
All well and good, but we usually play 2-3-2-3, and Kevin much prefers to play on the right side of the two AMs.

I prefer the in short bit lol
He had a great season before last, with raz it was our best formation and balance, not sure why pep changed things so much last season so he couldn't get in,thing is he is a high risk player but he makes me get off my seat like no other player in the team does and i'm desperate for him to stay.I remember lots of players saying sergio was a bad trainer but match day he turned it on,maybe sane is the same, maybe he is behind raz and bernie in his developement and consistancy,i don't like comparing young players because they all mature at different times, here's hoping what Ric said is true
Nothing to disagree with there, except perhaps we don’t have the luxury of having ANY player not doing what is necessary at all times, especially ine so young. Don’t forget, Sergio got sat down for a stretch when he appeared unwilling (unable?) to out in the work, but (for me) has had his best season yet this year, showing new found mobility and link up play.

I hope Leroy stays and develops, because I like the look and sound of a an attacking 5 of Bernardo, KDB, Sterling, Aguero/Jesus, and Sané. That would strike fear in any team in earth.

bernardo doesnt play in the middle from what i've seen with fernandinho in the side playing the middle one just up from the backs. its more of a diamond thing, of course football is fluid and players sometimes are distributed differently but thats good football to exploit space.

edit: oh and that was nice of kevin to tell you what he prefers. ;)
couldn't resist

It's amazing to think Hoeness is a convicted criminal and was given 3.5 years in prison. Seven serious counts of tax evasion totalling 28 million euros and admitted his guilt. And, then, incredibly, Bayern Munich made him their President again on release...what kind of club does that. They have also been at the forefront of those attacking City over recent years.

Pep and Ueli Hoeness are very good friends.

Once more, slowly this time ;-)

............CB............CB
....RB............DM............LB
...........RM...........LM
....RW............CF.............LW

And, if you can’t see that KDB is a preferred R(A)M, then I can’t help you. Yes, Bernardo plays out on the RW, as he also PREFERS the right side and cutting in on his left peg, but when KDB comes on, if Bernardo was playing RM, he shifts to LM.

As just the most recent example, look at the series of Wembley subs and who moved where when.

"Massive"?
