This scene legitimately scared me as a kid. Just the idea of a Looney Tune that kills people. That's insane. Like a hobbit that eats other hobbits. Or finding out that Woody the Woodpecker was a meth head.

I remember being in on my own at about 10/11 one night. My parents were out on the piss but I’d just be on my mega drive or watching telly.

Anyway, I watched a film on sky movies and then went away for 10-15 minutes. When I returned to the living room, I sat on the couch and started watching the film that had started - The People Under the Stairs.

I was so scared that I couldn’t even move to get the remote to turn over. I sat for the full film absolutely shitting myself.
