I've started restoring old British outboard motors and there's one on Ebay I'm after. There is one bid then mine and no auto bids that I'm aware of. To be sure of getting it I'm waiting till the death and then sticking a chunky bid in. My question is will I end paying my full bid amount or will I pay the next incremental amount. Looks like it's going up in £2.00 increments

Next incremental ammount. Just be strict with yourself on your max price and don't get sucked into 'winning' the auction.

bid the max you are willing to pay for the item, it will only go up by bits not the whole lot

Just sold a boat on Ebay, not the auction but a buy it now price. Put it on for 10 days but went after 1 day.....how the hell do I take the ad off ?

It will automatically go off if you have sold it through ebay and not through a best price on email / messages.
