Just seems strange that he quotes Crewe as one of teams. Scousers are plentiful around the areas of Mid Cheshire/Sandbach/Crewe districts.
Very surprised that a Macken would use the same word "yous".

My uncle said it quite frequently, especially when he got pissed (as he wasn’t then putting effort in to sounding proper, which he often did otherwise).“Yous” is used by some Mancunians too. Heard it many times.
It’s Irish isn’t it?
Still can’t stand to hear it, personally, but plenty of (especially older) Mancs use it.
