To be fair he had mid season injuries both seasons and struggled after them.Would be happy with either, both an upgrade on Stones.
The last two seasons John Stones has started the season outstandingly but faded badly.
So will you now call him Harry fucking maguire then bob? ;-)

Not sure I recall to many teams in the Prem or Europe who have had successful seasons after a change in 2 or 3 out of their back 4cb options.
So we're now saying if two centre backs come in to replace Stones and Komps, there just going to hit the ground running with a system it took a whole season for are current squad to work out.

I think Maguire is ok; sufficiently so that I'd have no issue with City signing him if that's what Pep wants but as competition for Stones, not as a replacement.
