Just flicked over to the Scotland game and the commentators say " wonder how much time will be added on after all the penalty/VAR stuff" next thing ref blows with all the players (both sides) looking confused !

I totally agree with the sentiment of VAR, but it implementation and potential for corruption due to lack of transparency will kill the game as we know it.VAR the way it is being employed at this moment in time is ruining football.

Without looking down at their feet while the kick is being taken, how the hell can they? They can't just stand there, they'll never save a penalty again. It's a ridiculous enforcement of a rule that's not viable.

Keepers need to start practising now, rather then taking a couple of steps forward then diving, they just need to learn to dive. The keepers who start this now will have a much better chance than those who start in December, after they've had upteen retakes ordered against them .

You can see on the replay that she jumped a good yard off her line. That just doesn't happen instinctively, she knew what she was doing.
