You've got to take your hat off to him. The club were seemingly happy enough to let him go last summer when Wolves came calling. But he said no, and stuck around to fight for, and win, his place in the starting XI (Leroy, take note). Yes, he has the occasional WTF moment (most of our defence do, to be fair!) but that extension to his contract has been well earned. Arguably our most improved player this season for me. I'm not saying the best, I'm saying most improved, given he was starting from a fairly low point. He's certainly thrown the gauntlet down to Mendy. Also, like most of the squad, he seems a likeable fella as well. Well done Olek.
