Mendy will start if fit every time
I agree as well mate. If fit Mendy will still be number one.

For me, Mendy is poor defensively. Very much so.
It speaks volumes that there is even a debate between Zinchenko (a recently converted winger) and Mendy (a specialist left-back).
I was about to say the same The game at Anfield last year is a prime example, when he was asked to reign it it in and hold his position nothing got down that left.Firstly, and I know football's a game of opinions, but on this one you're simply wrong, Mendy isn't poor defensively. If you actually watch games where he's been asked to defend, as opposed to games where he's been told to play as an extra winger, you'd see he's more than capable and certainly better than our alternatives.
Secondly, there is no debate between Zinchenko and Mendy. Mendy will start if he's fit.
Thirdly Zinchenko is not a converted winger, he's a converted attacking midfielder who played LWB at his former club quite a bit.
That’s my feeling too. Do we know when it officially starts?Contrary to opinion, it's all looking very 'new kit launch' to me.
if mendy was fit last season we wouldn't be even talking about zinc, he would be looking to get away from the club for more game time, thankfully every cloud has a silver lining, and his efforts have been rewarded and full credit to him, but mendy will be first choice imo.For me, Mendy is poor defensively. Very much so.
