I label myself a bit of a beer geek, love trying new ones and have tasted around 2000 different beers from around the world ...... thought I would compile a list of my faves ....

1... Sam Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout
2... Cloudwater Manchester Yandaro Imperial Brown
3... Intercoastal Waffle Killer
4... Weihenstephaner Dunkel
5... Boulder Chocolate Shake Nitro
6... Intercoastal Elvis ( Banana And Peanut Butter Wheat)
7... Innovation Brewing Chocolate Porter
8... Chocolate Marble ... Marble Brewery Manchester
9... Cloudwater Manchester DIPA ( Not a scouser beer )
10... York Brewery Centurians Ghost
11... Innis & Gunn Rum Barrel Aged Red
12... Erdinger Dunkel
13... Guinness ( In Dublin)
14... Marble Pilsner Marble Brewery Manchester
15... Black Sheep Bitter

Some excellent beers there. The Sam Smiths Chocolate Stout can get a bit sickly after two though. Black sheep a definite favourite along with Budvar black.

Good choices, black beers are my choices n’all.

Guinness Original XX from a glass bottle is my simple favourite.

Can’t beat that burnt taste with the dark notes and fizz to boot!

15 great beers. My go to pub for frequently changing dark beers is the Petersgate Tap in Stockport. Although a recently tried Neptune brewery Imperial Stout, "Hear the Sirens" at the City Arms I'm Manchester went straight into my top 10.
