The Bridge chippy in Norden is decent, fresh Cod,Haddock.Plaice and Pan fried Salmon cooked to order ,also has a cafe above it which is good.

I had fish chips n' peas from Matt's chippy in romiley Friday teatime. Folks were 10 deep outside waiting in the rain not long after I got there. It's a proper English chippy I recommend and would go as far as to say they were the 4-5th best I've ever had.

That place was brilliant a year or two ago but I’ve been disappointed last couple of times I’ve been at lunch and probably haven’t been back for 6 months.

Green Lane Chippy in Leigh is good, But the best for me is Yorkshire Fisheries in Blackpool.

I go out of my way to go to Green lane. Best around.
