Armed police

It was the intel that was wrong not the actual fire arms officer, imagine trying to incapacitate a man you believe is a suicide bomber no one is taking the chance of shooting him in both shoulders it ain't Max Payne.
Yes spot on, the shoot him in both shoulders argument is laughable.

Ultimately the cops involved fucked up,but i agree, there was mitigation and reasoning as to why they made such a drastic and devastating decision.
Yes there were unfortunate failings but the cops who boarded the tube acted exactly as they should have when told they would be faced with a suicide bomber on a packed tube.

You couldn’t be more wrong. He’s taking an overly simplistic viewpoint and hanging his argument on that.
I've read everything on that case, including the lies the firearms officers told. Just from a simple thing like ""Stop armed police officers" which six witnesses said was bollocks.

Typical yank. Better a policeman with a black eye or bruised shin than a dead mother of two who's been shot because some **** in uniform got twitchy. Armed police should be in armed response units and not on regular patrol.

There are always extremes, but the complete lack of respect for police in the UK (because there appears to be little to no consequences paid), is killing the scintilla of British society that is left.

Nothing wakes someone the fuck up than pointing a Glock at their body. You learn compliance (or not) pretty quickly....your choice!

A policeman should never be subjected to violence by members of the public. You can parse that any way you want, but the complete lack of respect for almost anything is a cancer, and it is killing you all.

Went missing during the last set or riots. Regularly and illegally helping bailiffs who don't have correct documentation. Ever reliable number found to have abused their position.Little to no help in solving crimes when reported, as national statistics confirm. There's plenty more examples, also never seems to be a shortage of them when there's a chance of being on a TV show.

Yet the judge believed the cops... ok that makes perfect sense mate. You carry on in your dreamland.
