I'd say United are a good metaphor for the UK. Appallingly run by entitled idiots. Still rattling on about the glory days when they were "the biggest team in the world". Deluded as to their present place in the world. Likely to go into further decline, possibly a very sharp one.

Nowt like a happy ship..............and thats nowt like a happy ship. This and "stars" on huge wages who don't want to be there - owners who can't see that the days of flogging failures for top dollar have gone because they are no longer a winning machine.................long, hilarious who cares it will still be a fun season.
