That's a bit too "Liverpool would win the league if goals outside the box counted double" for me.
Well PL titles can be decided on goal difference or head-to-heads, CL games by away goals counting double rulings. Wimbledon's changed from 2 clear games to a tiebreak to decide the winner so you just have to win by whatever rules are set.

Yeah, NZ couldn't score enough boundaries in the Super-Over as they only required 16 runs so they had no chance to catch-up.
