BBC has stopped supporting the I player app on the Samsung smart TV I own , so I can't use that, and the ITV hub (shite anyway) - but that's stopped working too.

Sound business. The beeb realise that long term Netflix,sky,Amazon et all will dominate the market for new programming and they can't compete. The one area where BBC /itv will have the edge for the foreseeable is their archive.
