Iran seizes British tanker

This is all on Iran.

You know, the country which has publicly pledged to "erase Israel off the map"?

It's not like they aren't known for their outbursts. I just hope the innocent crews of the tankers are being treated humanely.
Utterly preposterous to suggest the States bears no responsibility for the current state of affairs.

For what it's worth my opinion is this is just more of the usual posturing from both.

Iran need sanction relief
Many of our international friends need that shippin groute to get supplies.
Americas pres needs a distraction from domestic shitstorms.

This isn't the first time after all we have had this shite go down 1984, 1988, 2008, 2012, 2018 and now.

The international equivalent of pavement dancing, Iran will sieze tankers for bullshit reason, keep them a few days then realse, we and the US will increase our presence and escort ships.

While in the background the diplomats will make deals.

What pisses me of is that it is always us. When an Iranian tanker was sailing down the Mediterranean allegedly breaking EU sanctions we went and 'captured it'. Bearing in mind we are supposedly leaving the EU why didn't the French or the Spanish seize it ? We now have the farcical issue of the Spanish saying we acting illegally as we were in Spanish waters (they do not acknowledge Gibralter), The Iranians seizing our ships and the EU doing fuck all. Don't get me wrong, this is not an Brexit thread, I am just pissed off that we always have to be the ones sending troops in when everyone else sits on their arses.

I assume Trump told us to do it so we did. What a stupid load of lick spittles we have in charge of this country.

Brilliant. Just as I am typing the above post an advert came on the bottom of my screen. I assume it was for some game or other but all I saw was a warship and the slogan, 'sink the enemy'
