There’s very little to take from these friendlies, the majority know our style and for them the only objective is to get physically fit. For Rodri and Angelino it’s about getting them upto scratch asap and Potentially getting Sterling used to a centre forwards role too.

Rodri against West Ham was all over the shop, looked lost both with and without the ball, thats not me jumping on him before anybody starts, it’s just how it was and was to be expected. I said during that game it will be interesting to watch his development game by game to see Peps teachings at work, can see the difference in possession already, he’s learning where he needs to be in possession depending on where the ball is, positioning out of possession hasn’t altered much as of yet.

Big difference between Sane and Sterling is when they are not playing well Raz keeps going, Leroy gets frustrated and disappears. Still young enough to sort it out.

BTW we need to sort out our penalty takers for next season.

Neither Jesus or Sergio are here.
If Sterling takes one here hes third choice in reality.
