out with mates over the weekend and got into discussion whereby you could only pick 1 player from each manager -

We went back last 10 managers.....



It gets hard !!

Mine were :

Pep - Ederson
Pellegrini - Kevin De Bruyne
Mancini - Aguero
Hughes - Kompany
Sven - Elano
Pearce - struggled here....only came up with Kiki Musampa !
Keegan - Ali B

Joe R - Shaun Goater
Frank Clark (!) - Super Kevin Horlock
Ball - Kinkladze

Tommy Hutch for me.
Like Ali B was a Rolls Royce of a player but in twilight of his career.

Didn’t JB sign Trevor Francis. That signing was so exciting at the time but clearly we couldn’t afford him and the dream was over in a year.

Billy McNeil- David Phillips/Mick McCarthey (did he sign him?)

Howard Kendall - Peter Reid

Brian Horton - Paul Walsh

I think kinkladze arrived before ball and was chosen by franny as a present to the fans.

That's how I remember it but I was only young then so may be wrong

Kinky arrived about 2 weeks after Ball and while Lee had done the groundwork for the signing he still counts as Ball's signing or we could be here all night debating a few other signings! ;-)
