Its bad enough (for them) that they just had their worst season in decades and by all accounts still look like they will go backwards again based on the contract renewals and transfer activity (to date).
But less than 2 weeks before the start of the biggest season for them in a long time, and players and a manager that have everything to prove and nothing to fall back on, they take their players to the arse-end of nowhere to play a joke fixture against their managers boyhood club so that he can wave at his friends, play against his son and have his other son on the bench with him.

All these pre season friendly wins are putting false hope in the minions that follow them. Give it 4 or 5 weeks into the season and the cards will come crashing down. Loverly Jubberly!!!
