I've still got my Sherwood Double Cassette Deck D-480 wired into my set-up along with my Pro-Ject vinyl deck. They must be 16 years old now!

What kind of turntable do you have Bimbo? Thinking of getting a rega planar plus 1

I have a Rega planar 3 - brilliant deck.

Got hundreds of cassettes and had nothing to play them on for years as the old deck gave up. Bought a Nakamichi DR2 in near mint condition off eBay - worth every penny, as was the MicroMega stage-1 for my CD's.

I remember watching Top Of the Pops as a teenager with my cassette player on my knee. Waiting for a punk band to come on so I could press record. Then when they came on I'd press record to then here my old fella - "get this bloody shit off!"

He ruined many a good recording.

Surely every man worth his salt should own a Technics? Some people prefer the 1200's but I like the 1210 mk3 personally.

303 just instantly reminds me of the Roland tb 303. Arguably the most influential synth ever made :-D
