Well the Telegraph (for one) were pretty emphatic about it:

"Manchester City have put a price tag of at least £137 million on Leroy Sane amid continuing interest from Bayern Munich."

Not, "sources close to the club" or any of the usual bollocks which means they know FA. A simple statement of fact, which I am pretty confident they have got directly from City or they wouldn't have printed it like that.

And Bayern have only ONCE in their history paid more than about £35m.

So the matter is closed IMO.

It was always clear that BMU wants him and City wants to keep him.
Everybody is just waitng for Leroy.
Unless he says he wants to join BMU nothing happens.

IF he would say so the clubs would have to talk, that's what Pep said as well.

Unless BMU agree to pay our asking fee, Sane can say and do what he likes and he'll still be a City player.

We are not going to toss say £50m down the pan simply because a player says he fancies a move.

The club briefed journalists yesterday that we'd consider selling Sane only if he expressed a desire to go. Pep commented today that Sane didn't say anything about leaving, so the precondition of discussing a transfer isn't fulfilled.
