Mangala joins Valencia on a Permanent deal

If we don't get a move on this window, THB might be our only back up option. I'm not a big fan of fitting square pegs in round holes if we don't need to eg: Walker, Fernandinho etc as stand in CB's. We need specialists in those crucial positions...

He can’t be named in the squad. Squad is full!!

Leicester should take a punt on him i reckon.... They really need a CB and are being quoted daft money elsewhere...

I’m not saying Mangala is the best but how can Bournemouth get £26 for Mings and we can’t get a fee for Mangala ? Is Mings really that much better? Maybe I’ve got my rose tinted specs on but Mangala could do a job for a lower end PL team surely ?

He's just a major risk for any club after his last knee injury and the fact he hasn't kicked a football competitively in 1.5 years. Plus, he seems to command a handsome wage and if we are being honest, when is the last time that he performed to any decent standard? 2+ years ago for Valencia?

Injuries, form and wages. However, if & when we release him, I doubt he'll be able to command anywhere near the wages he's been on at City. He'll probably have to lower his ambitions & rebuild his career somewhere.... Anderlect anyone?

I'm sure he's a nice chap but he is fucking rubbish and that performance against Chelsea is possibly the most overrated performance of any player in City history. Yes he had a good game, but that is it
