He was my MOTM even though Sterling scored a hatrick. He was very much involved in ALL our goals.

It was always going to take a year for him to adjust just like everyone else needed under Pep. He's clearly one of the most naturally gifted players in the squad which was evident even last season despite the criticism he was receiving. If he becomes a regular starter then he could have an incredible season.

Credit to him for becoming a player that looks at home in a Pep set up.He was something of a maverick at Leicester,given licence to roam and play with a selfish freedom....and in fairness,due to their limitations and strengths,that tactic worked.

Here with us,his game has needed adjustment,discipline,awareness,industry and team play being required - and today was proof he has listened and taken Pep's teachings on board.

He will prove a very valuable player,especially given Sane's absence.
