Shepherds Pie

My learned friend Damocles has gesticulated sufficient evidential malfeasance concerning the lack of crust/pastry in said pie or any or all pecuniary traits that would make a reasonable man on a Clapham Omnibus think he made an educated food choice based on descriptors available at time of purchase. Not only appertaining to said topping the "pie" for want of better terminology contained little in the way of said Shepherds making this dish not fit for purpose it was originally produced and indeed missold at point of sale to deceive the end user for pecuniary reward and as such is in contravention of the Consumer Rights Act of 2015. I would immediately commence a class action lawsuit until further research espoused that the pie derived its name from its primary meat content which is traditionally either lamb or mutton. Similar dishes with beef or other meat as a featured ingredient are more correctly called cottage pie. Both dishes likely date back to the 1700's although the earliest recorded use of the name dates to the 1870s ...That is all:
