Your ten "must see" places in England..

Avebury. Far better than Stonehenge.
Ambleside.
Northumberland coast.
Southwold.
Roman baths at night in Bath. Almost mystical.
Corfe Castle.
The South Downs.
York Minster. (Other beautiful churches/ cathedrals are available)
Derbyshire Dales. The Amber Valley is stunning.
The New Forest.
I really like the architecture of old churches and cathedrals. I wanted to visit Canterbury cathedral when I was down there but I didn't get the chance. Have you been inside there Bimbo?

From all the places to go in the lakes why would you choose Ambleside ? The only place that’d get in my top 10 in the lakes near Windermere would be the masons arms at in strawberry bank.

Yup. Prefer Durham myself.

As a foreigner who has visited both, it's a tough choice because I love both of their cloisters, but Durham was a nicer little jewel of a town to visit. I haven't really been around Canterbury though so maybe I'm wrong.
