Var debate 2019/20

VAR part of the problem but the new hand ball rule is the bigger error.

I think that has arisen because it adds 'legitimacy' to the whole VAR concept. We have bumbled this technology into the game where no one can give you a clear explanation of when, where and how it will be used. It can give a clear and definitive statement as to whether a ball has flicked an attacking arm or not, and the operators can point to a 'positive' improvement in the game. Why do we not get a penalty if the ball 'flicks' a defenders arm. Selective use is only part of the problem. To disallow a goal for what must be one of the most mind-boggling changes in the LotG and not apply the same technology for a blatant penalty which, if The Whistling Wanker saw it is blatant cheating, and if he didn't, why didn't the VAR wallah shout down his fuckin' earhole that he's let a pen go begging. Get the ball on the fuckin' pen spot, Oliver!

Oliver is a hideous referee who rarely gives us anything. There is probably a rizla paper between him and Atkinson as to who is the bigger shithouse.

So two games into the season and we have been fucked over twice, does var look at all the goals scored, nothing said about our penalty appeal.
