Really hope his injury isn't serious. Like it or not, this is a "prove it" season for Stones. While he's had stretches of being great, between his injuries, personal issues, loss of form here and there, he's been one of our few signings recently where you can argue that he hasn't lived up to his potential. I think he certainly has it in him, we've seen it, but we need to get a full season of it.

Between Vinny leaving and Otamendi getting on we're likely going to be back in the market for a centerback this summer and depending who we buy, if he doesn't put it together before then, that could be just about it for him here. Fingers crossed.

He should have established himself as first choice long ago. Pep seems not to be convinced with him despite what he tells the press.
