Not been there for years, used to drink in the farmers a bit their pie chips and gravy was always good. My current favourite is longsands in Tynemouth.I think I am well qualified on this one ;-)

I’ve not been it for over 30 years preferred the boars head if I was drinking in PoyntonAh yes, the Farters Arse as we rather childishly used to call it ;-)

Drake's in babbacombe.spend the evening in the dog and duck 2 doors down and at kicking out time the queue is round the block.never seen fish like it, massive portions in a beer batter

Has to be fresh fish, not frozen.
My local chippy only cooks to order. There’s nothing sat hardening or dehydrating in the cabinet, not even for a few minutes. A 5-minute wait is a small price to pay.
