Var debate 2019/20

What I still don't get on penalties is "VAR wont overrule/review a referees decision" so why was oliver indicating var told him rodris wasn't a penalty , yet moss pointed straight to the spot when it looked like a clear dive , and var didn't get involved when it looked a refs CLEAR AND OBVIOUS error

He’s tapping the headset to say “var hasn’t said to check it”

It’s a fucking get out of jail free card for them.

The refs have briefed they won’t use it ffs. Pogba dives tonight, gets a penalty and there’s no check at all.

It’s a joke.

It is as out of all decisions awarding/not awarding a penalty (which could and usually does have a major impact on a game) VAR doesn't get involved unless encroachment when taken , its a shambles

Maybe this has been pointed out earlier but I looked on the FA website and found a document explaining the changes.
http://www.thefa.com/football-rules...ootball-11-11/2019-2020-law-changes-explained

It lists accidental the ‘handball’ situations which will result in a free kick including this one:
a player gains control/possession of the ball after it has touched their hand/arm and then scores, or creates a goal-scoring opportunity.

which as others have pointed out is clearly separating the handball from the player gaining control/possession.
Added to that even Duncan Castles thinks it was the wrong call.
They identified a problem, boly handball goal v us,the solution should have been var check goals to make sure that doesn't happy, problem solved, the end, instead they have added a whole other layer and changed the rules completely,it should be the same at both ends, either any contact with the hand intentional or not counts or any hand outside the contour of the body is handball, having seperate handball rules means they can disallow lots of goals and give les pens, they needed common sense here not mission creep

I thought all pens given were looked at and only if clear and obvious mistake they will get involved and advise to overrule U could argue there wasn’t a clear and obvious error. The issue is when they are not given by the ref and he has missed it. Var is then open to whoever they decide to give penalties for. Which is wrong.

Well tonight Pogba dived and no contact was made and it never even got looked at. Fixed.

Sterling as whu was classed as an offside but Wolves goal was classed as onside from the wing player.. Just shows us how fucking bent and corupt the System as an all îs and why the bent fuckers are after us this season
