What do you mean saved?
It's already happened twice:- the sterling offside and the laporte Handball.

Especially the Laporte goal, they took 2 minutes to rule the goal out. They were looking for anything and they found something.
I mean as far as penalties go. They'll award one to City's opponent when it matters most.

Hahahahaha.

It really is comical how easily Bournemouth players are going down and the referee is blowing the whistle every time.
People point out how many fouls we conceded compared to last year and the boring tactical fouling comes out. Yet no one looks at the dives, the biased officials that penalises us for the slightest touch that results in a dive and a free kick and how much it takes for us to be granted a free kick for a foul on us

You're totally correct.

Then you toss in the new IFAB handball rule and combine it with VAR and the whole thing is a damned mess - worse than useless - though not necessarily bent.
They clearly need to change their “clear and obvious” rule as it’s leading to zero increase in accurate penalty decisions.

There are still soft ones given and stonewall penalties missed.
