Many clubs in the EFL pyramid have wages to turnover ratio something like 100%, thats crazy and obviously completely unsustainable. More than 60% is unsustainable, let alone 100% or more.

Bury were limited to 55% last season, 60% this season due to being promoted. The EFL isn't a pyramid, more of a block of flats.

Certainly sounds ominous. First match I ever went to was at Gigg Lane, early 70s Bury v City in a cup match. Bastards beat us!
