Bury fans club AFC start a new life in NWCL

I have no doubt that the bastard who took over Bury is bent but surely some blame has to be attached to previous owners and lenders too.

How does a club with 3k attendances run up debts of a reported £7-9 million?
You are quite right. They, too, bear responsibility for Bury’ demise. And what ever happened to ‘due diligence’? Can you answer that, FA?

Bury council have confirmed their is a covenant on the ground protecting it from being built on

Sure pop open the transfer window so we can buy Mbappe while you're at it.

Where was that consortium the past few months let alone yesterday?
They would not have wanted to make themselves known as a rival bidder in case the price goes up (certain club owners will exploit the situation when there are multiple potential buyers) so they will hold back until other deals fall through. Once the buyer pulled out yesterday they would then have come forward with their offer.

Offers were put through to the EFL to see if they were viable first, then Steve Dale would have effectively had to just pick the one he wanted. A bidding war was not a risk, certainly not under the circumstances as the EFL were taking the offers. Not that he seems to give a fuck but by all accounts the regulations for those two weeks were in place to bypass him as much as possible from I can understand.

Regardless, they still obviously need investment but with regards to lifting the exclusion, if they felt that strongly about staying in the league they'd have bid before the deadline.

As manager of Chester he recommended Ian Rush to City but Swales refused to pay the fee required because, he was a teenage not long later paid a record fee for Steve Daley
