Just seen the thread about the Orlando supporters clubs and it got me thinking.
I'm fucking off to the States for 3 weeks on 21/09, and obviously will be over there when some games are on, specifically
Preston 24/09
Everton 28/09
Dinamo Zagreb 01/10
Wolves 06/10
and will (likely) be in Tuscon, New Orleans, Memphis, and Washington D.C. for those games respectively.
Does anyone know of any supporters clubs in any of those cities, or at least bars that are likely to show the games?
You won't have any problem finding the games.
I can't speak for the rest, but used to live in DC and there is a good supporters group there. They meet up at a place called Lucky Bar which is located in DuPont Circle. Mix of americans and ex pats, good crew - I think the guy who runs it is a member here.
Finn McCool's Irish pub in New Orleans has a bunch of English expats watching games every week.
There are several sports bars in the French Quarter but no guarantee they will put City on if American football is on at the same time
Bunch? Maybe bevy or troop would be a better collective noun?

I’m a yank and proud as hell to be a city supporter. Glad I don’t have the same outlook on you brits. One of the best City podcast is the noisy neighbors, it’s an American and Brit combining forces to rule the city podcasts

Just bumped into a very nice lady from the Hoollywood supporters club in LAX.
Supported us since '95. She takes pride in educating some our new intake of fans that we existed long before Tevez and Aguero.
