Haha, not sure about dozy but the groundwork had already been put in place for our signings and we also had to comply with FFP and the 3 year monitoring period.
I think we would have gone for Maguire if the fee was no more than £65 million but once it was clear that was not going to be the case we decided to keep our powder dry.
