Watched Paper Tiger last night.

It was a good special, but weirdly for me it only had one real laugh out loud moment.

It just lacked a certain rawness.

I loved him because he was one of us. Average working class upbringing yet sharp enough to compete.

Watched the new Bill Burr concert on Netflix.
The first 30 mins or so was up there with the best ever.

I figured out what bugged me about Paper Tiger, it's the same as the new Chappelle special.

They're trying too hard to make a point about something that you can't say they passionately care about. I think there's a certain insecurity about it that just rubs off on me poorly.

Again to be clear though, both specials were very good. They're two all time great comedians.
