Didn't think we were that bad. A bit flat and a bit pedestrian at points, but we've been flat and pedestrian in away games before but have still gone in at 1-0 because we buried a big chance. We've been in control of the majority of the game - the difference this time was that Norwich scored the only two chances they had, so our performance was made to look considerably worse than it was. Stones clearly not used to playing in this back four, but that's to be expected after quite a long time out. On another day he doesn't try to play the offside for the second goal and we get away with it. And on another day Sterling's header goes the right side of the post instead of clattering back off it.

Good to get on the scoresheet before half-time, though - it's put the fear into the fans and if they don't get a third the nerves will creep in big time. Think we'll see De Bruyne for Gundogan on 55, then Jesus on 70 if things haven't changed. Long way to go.
Thank god for a bit of balance! Hopefully your right that were not that bad.Come on City!!

Never mind we had the Liverpool view from carragher now we have rednapp at half time to reinforce the wank so thank god I cancelled my sky

The quality of pundits and presenters is awful and it's happening across all channels, most of them don't even have a good understanding and use of English, Kelly Cates has just said it's a surprising result at half time, it's not a result until the end. Then of course you have the Liverpool bias at nearly every game, Cates, Rednapp, Carragher, Souness. I used to love it when a commentator just spoke when something happened, now it's as if they are paid by the word.

Shocking first half. Zinchenko and Sterling need to up their game. Not good at all.
Zonal marking on corners is not good, never liked it. Mark the players and go with them.
Our midfield is pedestrian today, needs more drive. Strange selection by Pep. Hopefully KDB will be on soon.

If Pep doesn't address our obvious weakness at set pieces teams will do thisweek after week.
to be fair to him he has been out injured for a few weeks now and i dont think he was at fault for either goal. its otamendi for me who hasn't looked great.
Not sure where Ota was on their 2nd but Stones parted like the Red Sea ,leaving Walker trying to cover and so losing the man on the left....
