Don't think anyone 'deserves' aids tbh, apart from maybe Danny mills, the class of 92, and Liverpools front 3.No but his wife didn’t either.
And we still have people on this forum wondering why sportspeople choose to come out. If you're an athlete trying to hide something, the press will make sure they get there first and lead the expose.Looks like the press were going to expose him so he came out before they put it out,

No but his wife didn’t either.
The ex wife hasn't got it, is happily married to another man and in her owns words felt sympathy for her ex husband who had lived with his true feelings bottled up for years.
She even stated that her and her family supported him after he came out to her, but she knew the marriage was over.

That must have been around 25 years ago now and he's still around.
Seems that treatment has come on in leaps and bounds since the early years.

It's what the news of the world used to specalise in and that was 15 yrs ago,he was blackmailed into revealing it,the papers have no shame,they never have done,it's 2019,who cares ffs,it's quite depressing reallyMaybe I'm being naive, but surely it's illegal for a newspaper to "out" someone for simply having a disease? If a doctor can't even disclose that kind of information, what gives a journalist the right to? Just when you think they can't sink any lower. Absolute scum.
