The back four isn’t title winning quality

Stones simply not progressed a wonderful talent but MIA when it matters

Otto loved the guy, but was always capable of making at least one error every match,a great back up.

Fernandinho, makeshift nothing more

Walker a RB

Garcia a completely untested kid

Ederson
Walker Stones Otamendi
Cancelo De Bruyne Rodri Silva Bernardo
Aguero Jesus
...till Mendy is fit enough to play.

When we won at Stamford bridge with the KDB goal two years ago I thought the team (with Stones and Otta at the back) were absolutely fantastic and on a different level to even the other top PL teams. They can do it and have done it.

They can but don’t do it often enough and both are prone to lapses in concentration, hence the reason why they both spent large parts of last season on the bench.

Not just the fee but the wages, they are paying him tons more than we would and keep our structure intact

You're right Karen, but you got the gist. We were simply not interested in paying what Leicester were demanding , never mind the salary .

Only the desperate rags are paying such stupid salaries for mediocrity - we are not.

And yet, before the anomaly of yesterday, we’d conceded the least amount of shots and goals in the league.

Mascherano was a makeshift centre half and Barca won 19 trophies while he played there. Fernandinho could well be an excellent centre half, he’s still our best defensive mid and is still one of the top four footballers in our team (despite not playing this season much).
