Ben Stokes takes on the Sun

I hope the ECB take some sort of action. It's the same when talking about City's relationship with the papers....you don't win by writing rebuttals on twitter.

The way to make a difference is cut off their press credentials. No more Sun employees given accreditation on the NZ tour. No interviews, no travelling on the press bus, no free entry, no access.

Still says a lot about the UK that the first non tabloid UK newspaper in that table is 600k copies behind the Sun

Don't hold your breath, tabloids in this country are like Teflon

cynical ploy by the Sun at the expense of the Stokes family to make sure there was at least one paper on the news stand that didn't have Johnsons embarrassment across the front page.
You're as bad as the Sun trying to cram your politics straight into this thread tbf.

funny what the law in this country can protect and stop a story going to print from court ?? but a good old cheap shot at a sportsman family and life is good to print ??? i hope ben stokes takes them to the cleaners and then gives all the money from it to his mum and family and have a good old fashion blow out and fuck them off

This is the sort of thing they could get done for though, because it's blatantly not in the public interest, and is also not even about the famous person himself.

well why else would the Sun do it today? They seemingly doorstepped his parents on Saturday about it - why wasn't it Monday's lead? the Sun, The Fail, The Torygraph are all laughably the same - " Enemies of the people" type headlines to rouse the rabble when it suits but if there is something that would show what they support in a bad light its a story on house prices, Diana or Strictly is suddenly front page news. To pull the same stunt with something like they have done today is despicable. At least the Guardian on line realised it had made a mistake with a cheap shot at Cameron and withdrew the comment with an apology within hours.
