Fuck it, go 2 at the back and out score the ****s.

Do we need a back four, three, two or even one? Let Eddie loose to wander our defensive third and pack the likes of Stones and Otters up front for a bit of height, Zinky in midfield and we've got a cricket score lined up. Could go either end, though!

If we’re playing a back three it’s essential that the player on the left is really comfortable in that role. Ideally a left footed player but if not someone who is at ease playing on that side, especially when they’re covering the left wing back. I think Otamendi would be really uncomfortable in that role.

Ota isn't a dream CB on the left but we have no other choice right now.

He played there in the first couple of games of the 17/18 season and looked really uncomfortable. We’re better sticking with a back 4 rather than trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

With Stones out this may be the way, its a pity Mendy is not fully fit, could play Walker/Ottamendi/Medy with Frna and Rdori as 2 holding midfielders.

After all the rest of the team play as attackers anyway.
